1812080834 – It’s time to get up! That’s the message being sent in this picture showing the view often seen from of our bedroom while still lying in bed. For anyone that has spent time with Lisa and I, it’s easy to see that Mia’s schedule was our schedule. Despite her “dog’s life” of frequent napping throughout the day, every day, Mia kept a rigid schedule of bedtime and rise and shine. When it was time for bed, she would do the reverse of what you see here – facing the bedroom, peering over her shoulder and silently letting us know it was time to go to bed. For her, it also meant the last opportunity for rambunctious playtime that culminated in her settling down for the night. I have many fond memories of playing hard, minutes before both her and I fell asleep for the night. I also remember those cold mornings where I laid in bed pleading with her to wait a little longer, all the while staring back at me as you see here in this picture.
