2506111936 – Until Gizz came along I don’t believe any of my dogs ate dirt. I’m not sure what drives Gizmo to eat dirt but he’s been doing it since he joined our family. He’s pictured here in a hole he dug but was occupied by a wild turkey just 15 minutes earlier. In fact, an entire family of five-six turkeys spent about half an hour mulling around this area Where Gizmo sits, one turkey nestled into this spot and Gizz replicated it by curling up in the same spot. Unusual animal behaviors are fun to observe, providing a source of endless wonder.
