Our sweet baby girl passed away on the night of May 16, 2022 at 9:30 PM, after a very short 23 days post diagnosis. Prior to her diagnosis with cancer, she vigorously maintained her daily routine without significant symptoms of her failing health. She loved her daily walks and rides in the car. Each day held the promise of warm greetings and delicious treats from the many friends she made with her joyful spirit. Her ever wagging tail projected the happiness she felt in the simple pleasures of daily life. Her seemingly ever present smile would most often dispel any feelings of apprehension felt from a passerby or fellow dog owner. Calm and disarming, she would often drop to the ground and roll over to display her submissive, non-threatening demeanor to those she may have sensed still had doubts as to her intentions. She is a beautiful spirit that has left an indelible mark upon my heart and my soul, and she is deeply missed. Until we see each other again sweet girl, my munchkin, my baby girl, Mia, you will be ever present in my heart.
