1911151552 – What is it about a pile of dried leaves that compels people and animals alike to just “jump” in. As a child I remember raking leaves into a pile for the sole purpose of jumping on and expecting a soft landing. I quickly learned that while the leaves may offer some cushioning between me and the ground, it definitely wasn’t enough to make jumping from a position of height any safer. Ouch! Nonetheless it was fun to roll around in the leaves. Mia always thought so as well. This picture was taken at the campground we stayed at while waiting to complete the purchase of our new home in Kingston. While strolling around the grounds Mia spotted this pile of leaves and immediately began to jump and roll around in them. There she is, happy as can be resting among the leaves.
