1707291303 – I would regularly refer to Mia as a “Crazy Ass Dog” in response to some of her personality traits that I thought were, well, a bit crazy. For instance, I have many photographs that show Mia in the same position and with the same expression you see here. We would be walking along, anywhere really, and without warning she would drop and flop. Often times this would occur in front of people and it would send them into a fit of laughter, which definitely served to reinforce the behavior. I believe she enjoyed the reaction from people – we certainly did. Then again, many have suggested that she was experiencing an itch she had to scratch. I believe there is truth to both theories but it seemed that she would only do this when people were present to witness it.
